Making Christmas Merry
Each year, hundreds of children who live in OHA communities are treated to an afternoon of fun in a winter wonderland where dreams come can true. The OHA Toy Drive, supported by year-round donations, provides fun toys that are safe and age-appropriate. In addition to toys delivered by none other than 'Santa Claus,' the children spend an afternoon playing games, having snacks and kicking off a joyous holiday season,.
Holiday Splendor
Sharing the Season with Seniors
Holiday Splendor brings our senior residents together with OHA staff who volunteer to create a magical evening. To ensure the season isn't one of solitude, we design a festive event that offers a holiday dinner, entertainment and dancing into the night for up to 200 residents and their guests.
Youth Summer Enrichment
Making the Most of the Season
OHA supports its youth with employment and educational enrichment programs. Particularly, in the summer months, young people living in OHA communities are encouraged to get involved in summer employment programs, day- and residential camps, academic programs that reduce "summer slide" (knowledge loss during the summer months), and so much more. In addition to supporting learning and growth, we also help with some of the more basic needs like the Summer Lunch Program offered at multiple sites.
